Convert GPX to a vector based image file (SVG, AI, EPS)

I was trying to convert a .gpx file into a vector based Image Format in order to create some fancy graphics. But there was one Problem: Basicly there is no obvious solution how to accomplish this conversion. After a while I found two solutions I want to share with you:

Solution 1: QGIS

QGIS is a cross-platform free and open-source desktop geographic information system. It enables you to load gpx files and to edit the included tracks. QGIS has a Print Option that allows you to save the tracks as a svg or PDF file. Now you can import it to any vector programme. The installation took very long and the handling was not very intuitive.

Solution 2: GPS Visualizer

This is a normal website providing the service for displaying gpx track on various map types. But it can do even more: SVG export! Choose SVG from the drop down box below the file selection menu. Convert and then right click on the gps track and choose download as. Save the file and it will be a svg. Now you can import it in any vector programme. Easy to use, easy to handle: Best Solution so far!
